Man, I (barely) remember seeing that in a movie theater with my father and sister, but it was in 1990. I know because I still remember the poster for the Stephen King adaptation Graveyard Shift in the lobby (and after seeing that movie, I can say with great confidence that that poster was the best thing about it). That said, I live in Canada (Quebec province), so maybe they didn't show it during the same time period? Which would be weird considering american movies played in Canada at the same time as in the US for decades even then...

I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me.

Carnivore Confusion: The Hero of the stories is a rabbit, so the fox and the bear are villains.

Since they make it clear that they fox and bear eat the rabbit, meaning there's no confusion, wouldn't this trope be averted?

Does Br'er stand for Brother, or for Briar, as in the Briar Patch the characters lived in and around?

Brother. At least that's how it was in the original Uncle Remus stories.

See you in the discussion pages.

Yeah, it's brother. Notice, the female animals are referred to as "Sis"?
