I say no. Unless there's a particularly extreme example then why list canon traits of characters. It's a given unless the fanwork varies wildly with the source material and taken to the logical conclusion, it's just going to lead to a majority of the canon work's trope examples being copied over to pages of fanfic that adhere closely to the source material, especially those involving characters and settings.
