If anyone has a clearer sense than I do of what differentiates Knight Templar from Well-Intentioned Extremist, I would appreciate input on which trope, if either, is applicable to Atlantis.

Going off by what is on the page...

Wanting to save your own life and free others seems like Well-Intentioned Extremist behaviour. Also, it seems like its actions are extreme enough.
