I overheard someone reading an online article talking about a graphical issue regarding Daisy's teeth...and the article misidentified her as Peach. I was going to add it, but I'll need to identify the source first. It's rather late for me, so I won't be able to check at this time. If anyone can dig it up before I can, go for it.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportRemoved misleading entry about City Connection stemming from a confusion between the NES and Arcade versions of the game, wherein the editor adding it as an example of Cowboy Bebop was infact the one getting the facts wrong. Also a personal attack on Wikipedia, which I would have removed regardless of whether or not the rest was true- Don't be That Guy.
Hide / Show RepliesWas it necessary to call the other editor "dumbass" in an edit reason, though?
I'm not sure if the Harvest Moon thing really counts. Literally speaking they are "new Harvest Moon games", since they are the games being published under that title these days. It'd be wrong if the articles implied that the two series were the same, but the entry gives no evidence that they do that.
I'm posting this here because I don't want to get in an edit war over this
Partytime added the following to CowboyBebopAtHisComputer.Anime And Manga:
I deleted as for multiple reasons but mostly because it's an Ad and clearly meant to be fiction. Later, Partytime added this to this page.
- The makers of these ads for Yo-Kai Watch seem to be under the impression that Yo-Kai are real. Now you're wondering which mental asylum the writer of the script escaped from.
- One user said this is "fiction" but this troper is like "Meh, it's still a What an Idiot moment".
I'm removing this for multiple reasons:
A) It's clearly presented as fiction, there are pople with Wing Ding Eyes!
B) It doesn't fit the description of Cowboy BeBop at His Computer, it's about media that reports something wrong about a work not for this
C) The entry uses This Troper
D) The Yo-Kai are based on Yōkai, traditionial spirts of Japanese lore which the original writer doesn't seem to understand
Working on cleaning up List of Shows That Need Summary Hide / Show RepliesThey were edit banned a while ago for edit warring on another page, for the record.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan a lot of the guide examples really count considering often they are given non-finished games to make them from, thus making it more the fault of the programers changing it between the time they get the game handed to them and release?
I mean it is a bit unfair and not really "not doing the research" when it's changed on you.
Are we sure the last entry for Super Smash Bros ("This article refers to Brawl as an 'indie title' and 'that little game nobody paid any attention to' even though it's anything but") isn't intentional satire?
It's not that I refuse entirely to believe someone could call something a "little game nobody paid attention to"/an indie game and clearly describe 75K players/show a picture of Mario in the same article, since there are definitely people that stupid, but coupled with the "No word yet which fat man pictured Martin got to take home as a trophy for winning" line I'm not convinced it's devoid of sarcasm.
But is he a CUTE evil overlord?
