The entry we have on Beast Wars says that in Quebec it was known as Robo-BĂȘtes (Robo-Beasts). But then I found this on Market-Based Title (don't worry, I edited the French bits out):

  • Similarly, Transformers: Beast Wars was known in Canada as Transformers: Beasties, because the word "war" could not be used. This is especially weird considering that the show was actually produced in Canada. Strangely enough, this didn't affect the French dub, which aired in Canada under the title Guerre-BĂȘtes ('War-Beasts'), even though it was known as Animutants in France...

So who's right? Is it Guerre-Betes or Robo-Bettes?
