Given Marvel's tendency to market minis as ongoings (thankfully less so since Cebulski took over as editor in chief), I'm more inclined to believe the creatives on the book.
But that might be just me.
EDIT: We could also wait. Later solicits, or Comixology when the first issue comes out (that was the case with Vote Loki), sometimes have better info.

I don't know, but I've even seen series being labelled ongoing then mini then ongoing again in subsequent solicits. Marvel's marketing is... WEIRD.

The writer says it's a mini, and not an ongoing. She said if successful it would be an ongoing but there's no plans for that.

Shouldn't we make a "Wave 2" or something folder for the 2019 releases?
Because even if Marvel doesn't want to do a named initiative this year the customary annual title launch-relaunch wave is still obviously happening, and makes the lists unholy long.

I'm pretty The Amazing Mary Jane is an ongoing, as all the websites including Marvel themselves refer to it as such, and Marvel's 2019 solicits do not label it as a miniseries.
If it were a miniseries, it'd be labeled as "The Amazing Mary Jane #1 (of 5)". Instead, it's just The Amazing Mary Jane #1.
The only thing that seems to suggest a miniseries is that tweet, where Leah Williams calls it a five-part miniseries. But everything else contradicts it. As it stands, I thinks she either made a typo, was misinformed, or some other case, because everything clearly paints Mary Jane as an ongoing.
Thoughts?
