I believe that it would be preferable to merge any spoilers in the characters' profile into their list of tropes, and remove any that are currently redundant. By this point in the story, having spoilered text in their description is about the same as spoiling that they eventually die, and the spoilered sections of some bios are larger than the spoiler-free sections. The chronological sorting system works well to keep new characters unspoiled, and I would be happy to make the changes myself, but this has been a community project thus far and I would like to hear what the other contributors have in mind.

On that note, I think splitting the Jahns up into sections, one shared and one for each of the individuals, would make their list of tropes less monolithic.

I do agree that the spoilers may be getting more obvious as time goes on. The problem with moving them into the tropes lists is wiki policy. According to policy, you can't spoil trope names in a list, and having Killed Off for Real visible on twenty characters' section would be extremely unsubtle. Even if we ignore that, people may be able to guess them. Is there a way to avoid this? I'm not sure. We'll need more input.

I agree with the Jahn-split idea. I think I'll implement that now. Fretless may or may not have to to make art for each of them separate, though.

Thanks for your suggestions. Note that Killed Off for Real is said to be only suitable in universes wherein Death Is Cheap; the only time character deaths need to be mentioned at all is when they invoke a specific Death Trope. And while there won't be a way to completely shield readers from spoilers, I believe reserving the introductions as spoiler-free buffer zones would be more newbie-friendly. As they currently stand, the unspoiled sections give enough material to form an image of each character, and should be enough to satisfy the curiosity of new readers. It is a shame that we cannot fully protect spoilers in the tropes list, but hiding them in the character bios seems to be a workaround, one which is quickly becoming obstructive.

That said, I appreciate that you took the initiative to split up the Jahns. Should Fretless feel updated art is necessary, the page can be updated, but that will be his call and I'd like him to know we owe so much to him already.

Yeah, those are good points. I'll try and change the descriptions soon, unless someone else has objections.

Also, due to the problem with unspoiled trope names, I think I'm going to go mark HOTDOG's and the Jahns' pages as Walking Spoilers under their descriptions, thanks to how much they revolve around spoiler tropes.

Yeah, Fretless really has done a lot here, even before we all arrived. Has he found all the characters' favorite and least favorite foods yet (not including those who lack proper QR Codes)? That might be something we need to finish up still.

Once again, thanks for your initiative, Aipom. You didn't need to take on this arduous task all by yourself, but the fact that you did goes to show the love and dedication this community fosters. We're all very fortunate to have you on board.

I am uncertain to what extent Fretless is still updating the favorite foods list, as he appears to be occupied with personal projects at the moment (a comic called JK in particular). I do not own the game myself, so I wouldn't be able to continue his experiments, but the favorite foods topic seems to have been documented as exhaustively as possible, at least until Vinny reveals the missing QR codes. For now, we can rest easy on that front.
