The 616 version of Peter Parker was excised from this page with the justification that he "shouldn't be here". I would argue that he has just as much a place on this page as any other character who exists in other comic books. The tropes listed for him describe his role in the Ultimate Spider-Man canon. There is no other place for that entry.

I am guessing you ought to add him back, then.

I was deeply confused until I checked the page history... you don't give a good explanation here, but I can't see a reason not to have an entry here for 616 Spidey's appearances in USM.

So I'm going to break up the Volume 1& 2 and 3 label and rename them into Main characters and Supporting cast labels as both volumes have cast that share one another. It's been two years and anyone who is remotely familiar with the Ultimate Universe by now should know that Peter died and Miles replaced him. I'll just do this for the characters page and I'll leave spoiler tags untouched and then designate Volume 3 exclusives as such. This will clean up any clutter. Maybe someone should start making new character pages as it is getting pretty huge.

I've said it before, I think prominent characters appearing both Peter and Miles' stories should have their own folder. Gwen and May, for instance, are very important in Volume 3 and Gwen is one of Miles' closer friends. Maria Hill was also introduced before Volume 3.

However, my original reason for doing this was to avoid spoilers. If that's not an issue, I still think those recurring characters should have their own folder if only to organize things better and give an indication for readers as to who is important where in the timeline without slogging through each character's trope list.

Another issue is I'm not sure what qualifies as being worth mentioning as an appearance. I mean there are tons of characters in the series that this page just neglects to mention mainly because they appear in other Ultimate comics as well(All of the X-Men and the Ultimates for example). In the Ultimate Universe, there is a lot of intersection between comics especially with Ultimate Spider-man. Should I even mention characters like Moon Knight, Blade, Michael Morbius, and etc? Should I even qualify the Ultimates and Ultimate X-Men as Kitty Pryde, Liz Allen, and Jessica Drew are extremely involved with those two? If anything, we should at least combine the Ultimate Universe and hope that someone on Tv Tropes can pick up the slack for those series.

I personally am against the idea of merging the ultimate character sheets (this single one is complex enough).

I will say that Kitty Pryde, Johnny Storm, and Iceman should be included under "Main Characters (Volume 1&2)", because they...kinda are. In the same vein that Amazing Spider-man is listed under Supporting characters—his tropes are specific to the comic and still notable for what they are.

On another note, I think Gwen Stacy should be listed under Volume 3 main characters as well—just the name, and a note to look under Volume 1&2 for her full entry. (I still like the idea of separating recurring cast (i.e., all three volumes) into a separate folder instead of giving supporting cast their own).

I'd like to point out that the Ultimate Universe is more conjoined than the 616 Universe thus a single comic series in it serves to define the Universe as whole. This is why I am all in favor of combining character pages due to it's intersectionality. I'd like to point out that Johnny Storm has been in more comic books outside of Ultimate Fantastic Four than his origin comic. The same could be said of Nick Fury. I just think it should be reevaluated especially since the New Ultimates are existing because of that.

So do we un-spoil Miles' girlfriend since in the new issue (#23) we know there together and we know the name.

Already did. However, we should maintain a policy of keeping in spoiler everything that hasn't been revealed in the comic yet. For example, the solicitation of #26 hints that the character has some secret.

Just a little heads up for Miles' dad's entry: The comic has referred to him as Jefferson Davis as opposed to Jefferson Morales, but the sources of that name aren't that reliable (one comes from Betty Brant, who could have gotten the details wrong and not care, and other was a preview blurb paraphrasing Betty)

I'm leaving his entry as is until there's further confirmation. In the U.S., a man giving his biological child his wife's surname without changing his own is less likely than a man taking his wife's surname so that the whole family has the same last name. The latter is the default assumption and is the reason why his last name was labeled "Morales".

I'm of the opinion that characters that appear in all three volumes should have their own folder. Otherwise, characters that are relevant to a later volume (like Captain Quaid), will be shoved into the folder for an earlier one which ends up being misleading as to who has a presence where in the timeline.

Why were the images changed around? I hardly call that cleaning up, seeing how the images no longer sync with the characters they belong to.
