Would it be accurate to add Writers Cannot Do Math for Professor E. Gadd? In Luigi's Mansion, he says he moved to Boo Woods when he was 20 and has lived there for 60 years, making him about 80. In Partners in Time, his younger self also moves to Boo Woods at the age of 20 but given that Mario and Luigi's younger selves are around in that same time period and in the present day they are canonically in their mid-twenties, this would make E.Gadd about 45. Give his appearance and how he says he's too old to physically catch ghosts anymore, I'd say he's supposed to be about 80. (Artistic Age would need to be removed in that case.)
WAH.Is it necessary to keep that The Gadfly entry on Princess Peach? The part about Super Mario Odyssey's ending seems too YMMV for a page like this. It isn't confirmed or made official that she wanted to pull a prank on Mario and Bowser for being desperately fighting for her love.
Edited by ProtectorOfTheUniverse Hide / Show RepliesYeah. If anything, she did it out of frustration and/or annoyance.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I agree that Dorrie deserves its own section, but I don’t necessarily think it should be under Outsiders. Its debut was in Super Mario 64 where it was found in Hazy Maze Cave, which is arguably located in the Mushroom Kingdom. I know I’m using that word, but as far as I know, there’s nothing proving that it is or isn’t. I’m inclined to believe it is in the Mushroom Kingdom because Mario can warp to it from Peach’s Castle. Dorrie’s next main series appearance was in New Super Mario Bros., which took place in the Mushroom Kingdom. While there are Dorries that appear in other kingdoms in Super Mario Odyssey, there’s nothing saying those Kingdoms were where all Dorries originated from, and there’s one in the Mushroom Kingdom too. The reason the Yoshis are under Outsiders despite there being Yoshis in the Mushroom Kingdom is because they originate from Yoshi’s Island. There’s no conclusive evidence as to where Dorrie came from, so just like with Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach, I’m inclined to believe it comes from the Mushroom Kingdom.
Edited by streakson22Does anyone else think this page could be a bit more organized? Maybe we could sort it by characters that are native to the Mushroom Kingdom (Peach, Toad, E. Gadd, Metal Mario, Pink Gold Peach, Mini Marios, 64 NPCs) and those that hail from elsewhere (Yoshi, Daisy, Rosalina, Luma, Pauline, Nabbit, Sprixies, Plessie, Poochy, Cappy, Tiara, Sunshine NPCs, Galaxy NPCs, Odyssey NPCs). And yes, I’m aware that some of the characters I put under Mushroom Kingdom aren’t necessarily confirmed to be from there, but as far as I know, there’s nothing saying where they are from, so the Mushroom Kingdom is the best guess.
Edited by streakson22 Hide / Show RepliesThat'd be pretty nice actually..
The Cosmic Troper, here to trope like nobody's business! Now that Pink Gold Peach has been announced for Mario Sports Superstars, should she get her own section on this page once the game is released? Metal Mario already has his own section, and his will probably be expanded once that game is released, as he is also playable in it.
I think the Biker Babe trope should be added back to Rosalina. I'm not sure why it was removed in the first place, since she shares the trope with Peach and Daisy, and she is a confirmed motorcycle enthusiast (or at least passionate about motorcycles) as well.
