Jossed: Many Splinter Cell fans had assumed April 17th to be Sam Fisher's canonical birthday based on a piece of artwork◊ created for Double Agent in 2005 that was an artist's mock-up of Fisher's Third Echelon discharge document and because it was the date returned when you entered the question into Google. In August 2020 Ubisoft confirmed with the release of Operation Shadow Legacy for Rainbow Six: Siege that Sam's birthday is actually August 8th, which came from another piece of concept art◊ that was also created for Double Agent.
