If you meant the poster and character design sheet, it’s just a shading method. Character Designer Shigeto Koyama mentioned he intended not to use black on anything aside from Mad Burnish members.
In movie however, if i recalled my memories correctly, Galo was burned by the Mad Burnish once and got poured with teal gooey lotion when he got called back to the fire truck. I personally assumed it was icy aloe vera of some sort *chuckles.*
Edited by shuniyaYeah I remember he was burned in the first fight, and later on in the end fight the icy "aloe vera" was poured on him again and his entire body was "whiter" than before. But later that faded but his arm was still a different color. Was it permanently burned? Just because if so it wasn't properly explained.
If that’s the case, then it’s a burn scar. Trigger can’t fit in all the plot holes since it’s a film (and they visibly did sacrifice plot over animation experimentation and technique), but I assume Galo would heal after the film setting since like all skin burns, it can take a while, and the film timeline stretched only a few days in length. If Galo’s arm doesn’t heal (if however Trigger managed to add aftermath bonus material when Blu-Ray DVD hits shelves) , then it means Burnish flames were indeed badass powerful.
Edited by shuniyaBecause the Promare are their own characters, I think they should be moved from the "Foresight Foundation" subfolder. Their original folder, at least with the "massive spoilers" makes more sense. They aren't owned or part of the Foundation or Freeze Force and are their own entities.
Was there a reason one of Galo's arms is a different color? Was it burned in the fire when he was younger? I don't remember the movie offering an explanation.
