Bastard Boyfriend: To the protagonists of both games, William, and potentially Ellen in Wolf Hall. In Horse Hall he tries to guilt the protagonist into signing away her soul to him by spinning a lie filled sob story, and tries to do the same to Ellen if he's dating her in Wolf Hall. He holds Wolf Hall's protagonist hostage at knifepoint, and William claims he changed completely after they slept together, causing their breakup.
