Episode 4 contained a metric ton of interesting themes and events, both plot-relative and arguably less so or not, but the one that struck me as a, "holy sh**! What?!" moment had to be Kazamori Sasa trying to "repay" Shinjurou sexually. In a tiny teddy body. And Shinjurou enjoyed it.

I'm incredibly confused internally on how I should process that scene and all its possible implications. For one, at that point Kazamori had lived as a 20-something man for over 7 years, but after The Reveal of this episode he was brought back into his original body, which was that of a young girl's.

What's more, the running commentary throughout episodes 3 and 4 regarding What Measure Is a Non-Human? vs. Robots Are People Too must be taken into consideration, I think.

Thoughts? How did you take this scene and the conversations on this issue overall?

Well, Kazamori's creator was still alive, and he most likely...enjoyed Kazamori's company when she was in the little girl body. The whole teddy bear sex thing is probably just to underline the fact that she's been doing all sorts of freaky shit over the years. And also to remind us that Shinjurou's a damn smooth operator.

As far as I see it, the show is pretty much in favor of Robots Are People Too, but not outlawing their creation.
