Is this even a trope? I think this falls into PeopleSitInChairs territory. Tracheotomy is a thing, and this simply lists them. Not every tracheotomy is \\\"thrown in for drama\\\" and a list of all that were would be about...5. We might as well list every time someone has to be cut open for surgery.
