open"Get out of there before Craboon is born." Live Action TV
So there was this TV show where the villains made basically fusions of existing animals to fight the heroes.
I remember a female villain was radioing a male henchman who was planting like an egg or something and it would give birth to a crab baboon fusion and they called it Craboon.
And the female villain was giving orders and said something along the lines of "Get out of there before Craboon is born."
resolved 90s Teen Novel About Being Trapped in a Mysterious Town Literature
Hello! I remember reading a novel that was probably aimed at teens in the 90s or very early 2000s. After having some kind of vehicle-related trouble and getting injured, the protagonist got trapped in a mysterious town or village that I think was in a mountainous area. Every time he tried to leave, he couldn’t. It was like there was some kind of supernatural force field around the town, so that even if he walked for a long time, he would just wind up back where he started. He eventually did get out, though.
At one point, characters went swimming, and I think they had a dance or party on another occasion. Characters might have done some kind of traditional healing, though I could be confusing this book with a different one. At the end of the novel, there was an author’s note about how the culture of the townspeople had been inspired by the real-life Melungeons. The cover of the book might have been blue or green with an image of a person and white writing, but I’m not sure. I would really appreciate any assistance in finding the title or author.
resolved 40K (possibly fan)story
A Warhammer 40 K story I can't remember if I read or read about (and it might have been a fanfic), about two brothers in a Space Marine Chapter. The older brother failed the tests and is a Chapter serf, while the younger brother passed and is a true Astartes.

Can anyone identify the music that plays during the IMDB Supercut of Jude Law (https://www.imdb.com/video/vi3910713625/?ref_=nmvi_vi_imdb_17)?
openHidden Image/ Folding Pictures from Children's Magazine Print Comic
Year ago in a children's magazine (likely "Highlights" or a similar American publication aimed at grade school children) I saw a neat hidden image illustration of medieval town and castle built onto a hillside. The illustration covered two pages; when those pages were gate-folded inwards the image of a town transformed into a reclining dragon.
This was not a "magic eye" picture or a printed paper fortune teller that was meant to be snipped out and folded up - the pages were meant to remain stapled into the magazine.
Year of publication would likely have been between 2000 and 2007. If anyone recalls a similar feature printed in a kid's magazine or an artist that made illustrations like this, I'd be happy for a lead.
resolved Pollution Pirates Videogame
There was an Edutainment Game I vaguely remember playing at school in the late 90s (97-98?). I think there were like four missions but the only one I remember playing was called Pollution Pirates.
It had like a live-action video of these two guys on a boat one was older and the other was tall and skinny. They were dumping stuff in the water.
I don’t remember the gameplay but I remember at the end when you won they showed the two guys getting locked in a jail cell.
openWhich shows do these quotes come from Live Action TV
Simply put, I would like to know where these quotes came from -
“…and naming our fists?”
“Oh, I’m not fast, but I’m furious!”
“…pigeons are jerks, by the way”
resolved I can't find western movie, can someone help? Film
Movie is about one cowboy, aka main character, i think with no kill rule. During stand off he accidentally kills his enemy. Main character decided to retire because of that. I don't remember much about it, but twist was that aformentioned enemy turned out to be alive and faked his death to break main character. Any ideas what movie is it?
openSome Anime Anime
I have been thinking about an anime. I just remember one episode about a trio of students that were about to have a test, and for some reason, then one of them climbed into a clock tower to fix the abandoned clock there.
resolved Mother abandons wolf pup Literature
When I was in elementary school my teacher read us a book where a pregnant wolf forces a fox or coyote or something out of its den and uses it to deliver. One of the pups has a deformed paw or something so the mother leaves it to die, but it survives.
Edited by CosmicGhostopenmale artist in movie backlot? Music
I'm trying to remember a pop/dance music video - Male singer - Could be a band, but only one artist is featured in the actual video - He's dancing and interacting with movie props and equipments in a movie backlot - E.g. artificial rain, camera cranes etc. - The actual decor seems to be mostly a western movie of some sort - Actors in costume and movie technicians are constantly moving in and out of the picture - This is NOT the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot (i.e. not Why don't you get a job)
openEuropean Paranormal Investigation Show Live Action TV
Ok so I think I watched this show on netflix but I cant find it in any records. It was about 3, maybe 4 adults. Either English or Irish I think. That investigated paranormal and absurd claims to find the truth behind them. One episode had them proving that ghost lanterns were just owls, and another had them trying to solve the sighting of a black panther. I think it was 2 dudes and a woman, and they worked out of an RV. The film wasnt amazing so early 2000s I'd guess. There was another episodes about deer in a gilf course and one about foxes being mostaken for demons i think. Also one about boars and ine about chupacabra. And at the end of each episode, theyd make like a powerpoint compilling evidence to show the locals and let them decide whether they thought it was paranormal or not.
openNutrition Show? Web Original
I think I was in grade 3, so 2014 or around there. This girl, and I think there was a boy too, had this little web series about health. This specific episode had the girl focusing on nutrition. Making a healthy lunch and that stuff. I think she learned to make a healthy pizza and then a dessert pizza pie. I think one of the main points in the episode was her playing basketball and warning another girl that eating chips was only good for short term energy, and that she could crash and get hurt.
openNo Title Film
This film was in black & white,circa(maybe)1950s.When I was four, I was watching a movie (it was already on) while Mom was flitting about in the kitchen,at about eight a.m. Every other time, my parents were adamant about monitoring All our TV exposure. But the phone rang, & she was sidelined for a few minutes. That being said...a scene in the movie showed a (solarium/ conservatory?) room, located towards the center of the home. With plants, & low lighting, there was a white bassinet, within, with such a darling baby, fast asleep. I didn't see the parents around, but a Cat started walking stealthily into the room. It crawled upon the bassinet, & then atop the baby, where it proceeded to suction the air from that dear child! Of course, I didn't see the rest of the movie, as I started crying & my Mother spirited me away. Never heard of nor saw the movie, again. But, even though it was so upsetting, it's always bothered me that I never finished the movie. Please find it. They say we all have our demons to face. This is mine. TY!
Edited by PluckiopenIDK what it is Film
This movie came on late at night. It involved a middle aged (40-45?) married couple, who'd been married for years. Only he worked, & she kept a Flawless home! She had obvious OCD, plus she may have had a problem leaving the house. As she was cleaning, she found evidence of his infidelity (which doesn't surprise me because their sex life was,at best, pitiable). Surprisingly...she eventually murdered him. Also, the dialogue was her narrating it with her thoughts, I think. She just cleaned & straightened, & it was dead quiet, except for the sound of her voice... eerily so! Very obviously controversial, so it may be one of those films they felt was better left to gather dust on the shelf. Only saw it once. Thanks, I hope it's a helpful description.
openIDK what it is Live Action TV
Ok so...this show was on one of the streaming networks (Hulu, Netflix, etc). It was an international show (maybe... Turkish?) & dubbed in English. It was about a young man in college (with well to do parents), & a beautiful young woman, attending the same college (yet, not rich, & she helps in her widowed Father's little cafe). It's a pretty modern show about two people who, after going through several krazy times (she became homeless after she went to college), he finally got her to fall in love ❤️ with him (after also dealing with extremely snobbish 'rents who wanted him to marry someone else). They had several krazy friends who hung in & tried to help, but keeping*The Family Resistance* at bay when you're trying to fall in love to eventually get married through several episodes equaled a pretty fun Rom Dramedy! Please help me find them, cause I got into an accident,& never finished. Thanks to All who had the time to work on this, I do appreciate it! 😘🤗 Plus, I have two more I'll submit in a few. I'll certainly help with what I can for the group, as well. Thanks again! Plucki 😊
openBug game (< not THAT one) Videogame
1 2 3 that’s enough for me. Anyways this one is for a game, (on roblox) it’s a role play game I enjoyed back then, the story is that humanity got teleport (by a big comet) to some A.U. where bugs had minds and stuff. Ants hate humans, ladybugs accepted humans, I believe there were spiders and crickets too(probably just the spiders) there’re also human-bug hybrids.
I think he was going to do something that was going to cause some kind of problem for his descendants. (I feel like maybe it was a reputational thing, like he made a bad name for himself and all of his eventual descendants; but maybe I'm making that up.) So they go back in time and kidnap him and trap him on a ship (an oceangoing ship, not a spaceship) for his whole life against his will, to stop him from doing the thing. He resents his confinement, especially over something so relatively trivial, but he can't do anything about it. He spends the rest of his life on this ship, with his descendants. At the end of his life, he points out to them that they forgot to give him the opportunity to actually bear any children, so after all their effort to fix their problem, all they've accomplished is retroactively killing themselves. (He deliberately didn't tell them until it was too late, because he resented them that much.)
I don't remember when I read it, but it was probably less than ten years ago. I feel like the story itself was older than that, though; it had the vibe of classic science fiction (i.e. 40s-70s) more than modern science fiction. But, I might be wrong about that.
