I can't seem to remember what show it was but I remember details from a specific episode it goes sort of like this - it was a show about doctors and I think they were in Africa and they were on at tobacco plant or tobacco farm or something like that because I remember that was tobacco and somebody burned down a marijuana crop and a tobacco crop and then in the same episode there was a little black girl they got stuck under a light jeep looking vehicle and the doctors tried to get her out but they couldn't move her because she's crushed underneath it
I only remember seeing parts of the episode while my mom was watching tv it was before 2012
openA Kid's Book? Literature
When I was in elementary school I remember a book about some office worker dude dying (i think he was on his way to work and he got hit by a steel beam that flew out of a construction site) and becoming a slave to some god. He hates it's there and is all like "this suck dude" and everyone else just keeps working. He eventually decides to overthrow the god and becomes the new god. I think at the end it showed him as the sun over the city where he used to live. All I really remember is that art for the book was really cool, like a mixture of Aztec and Egyptian art. most of the figures were black and flat, i think he was blue as a office man or something, I don't remember, I was like 5 when I read the book.
openGang related anime i think Anime
I am trying to find an anime I remember watching awhile back. Most of it is vague but it was about some kind of gang I think with all members being forced to where their symbol on either a earring or necklace. The symbol was half the yin yang like a ball with a curvy tail there was also a hole in the middle of the circle. it started off with a girl returning home to them or something. Thanks so much and I hope to get an answer.
openmooks just standing around?
Ever notice how how Mooks in a fight always just stand round when the camera isn't centered on them? Take the shotgun/ Conservation of Ninjutsu Scene in this video, for instance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPKpMNNgmsM
openBoy Working in Shoe (?) Store Literature
This is a short story I read in an English class. A young man gets his first job in a store, I think a shoe store. As he works, he imagines the sounds made by the cash register are forming words. "Hel-lo all you hap-py pee-pull..." that sort of thing.
At the end of the story, he gets fired. I forget the reason why, but I remember it says the cash register says "pee-pull," which I guess is supposed to represent the sound of the drawer opening.
Anyone know what this story might be?
openLive action 90's kids show
There were 4 children that were sent to a magical/medieval world and they were each given 4 relics a spear a sword a cauldron and a crystal. When they brought them back to the real world the relics became mundane objects Crystal became a brick and the cauldron became a mug etc.
openHow to light a match
I saw a show a few years ago, to be honest I'm not sure if it was on TV or online. I was a guy showing how to do very basic things, like light a match. He actually went into the science of things, it was actually really interesting. I'm pretty sure it was a series, I think another episode had to do with dogs. Any idea what this show was?
openLooking for a late 80s to late 90s children's syfy live action show. Live Action TV
The only place I have ever seen this was at a local video rental place. The plot is that one night a young man(maybe a teenager) sees a fight between two scientists. One is an old man who has a small spaceship that can travel through different dimensions. The other is a man in a robotic exoskeleton that can also travel through different dimensions. They are bother fighting over a crystal and after the man in the exoskeleton disappears the scientist explains that the another man was his ex-partner who is now evil and plans to use these crystals to do something evil. The scientist requires the young man you help him travel through dimensions in a race to collect all of the crystals.
So I think there were 7 VHS videos and each video they went to a different world. The only two I can remember is one where they are in a giant alien babies room and they have to get a crystal away from the baby. The other is one where everyone is a toy and it is revealed that the man in the exoskeleton is actually the good guy and the young man has been helping the bad guy the entire time!
I have been trying to find this for years. Any help would be appreciated! ~Cheers
openA recent pop hit Music
This might be really dumb and obvious, but there is this big pop hit from the past year or less(probably) that I hear all the time in public. And I'm really curious what it is(usually stay away from this stuff). I can't make out the lyrics clearly enough to search easily. It's a female singer. The lyrics sound like something about 'something something than it used be, something something supposed to be'. I really hope this is easy to find. Thanks.
openSong title/artist?
This is a long shot, but a few months ago I heard a song in a store, I don't know if it was on the radio. I really liked it but I can only remember one lyric from it: "Ain't got cash, ain't got bling, ain't got money to buy you a ring" :D From the lyrics, you would think it would be a male artist, but I honestly can't remember. Any help is appreciated!
Edited by nell_nerhegebopenVideo game with bad voice acting Videogame
I saw this video on Youtube about bad voice acting in video games and there was this one sound clip where a man was moaning "I grieve, I mourn, help me gods!" in a really melodramatic way. I remember the game had a horse on the cover or someone riding on horseback. I've looked for the video on Youtube but couldn't find it. Help? I'd love to hear the sound clip again, it was hilarious!
openUnknown Meme
There's this meme I've seen around and I don't know where it came from or what it's called. A Panic! At The Disco example that I stole off Tumblr: Sins: Written Tragedies: Not Disco: Panicked I am forcibly removed from the wedding.
openunsure Literature
I read a book in the early-to-mid-nineties that was about an underground vault-dwelling society that believed the entire world was the vault. As I recall, it was YA fiction. I remember people being banished from the vault by being pushed through a one-way force field. There was also some business with eating moss off the walls, and the requisite "tribe surviving on the surface thing". It was one of the first sci fi books I can remember reading, and I can't remember what it was called.
openSitcom with Pro Wrestler Husband Live Action TV
I think I saw this show while flipping channels in the late 90's or early 2000's. All I remember is that a kind of ditzy female character wanted to get a job as a TV weather girl, and her husband made fun of her. She retorted that it was no more ridiculous than him being a wrestler called "The Big Baby" whose signature move was the "Poopy Diaper Dance." He insisted that it was the "Poopy Diaper Dance OF DEATH!" Any idea what show this was? I don't think it was one that had a very long run.
openHP fanfic: "At least you aren't under a prophecy"
Can we even find fanfiction through this tool? I'm looking for a Harry Potter fic I read and forgot to bookmark in which this approximate exchange happens:
Harry Potter: *generalized grumble about what a pain his life can be* Draco Malfoy: At least you're not under a prophecy. Harry: What? Draco: It's a saying, it means "it could be worse." Harry: Well... I actually am under a prophecy. Draco: I am truly sorry for you.
Can't remember if they're just friends or whether there's romance involved, but they aren't bitter rivals in this one. Thanks!
open90s (I think) animated kids TV show where animals in a sewer can transform in to cyborgs
I think it was sort of 3D animation but I'm not 100%, and all the animals where sewer related (a rat, a mole, a moth and various other animals) which sort of transformed into cyborg versions of themselves and fought, this is pretty much all I can remember and it has bugged me for years
openKids cartoon Western Animation
The cartoon main characters are a little girl with black short hair and a blond boy. She got a magical pet ( small bear or fat cat not sure.) she lives with her father. I remember the cartoon name containing word frost or foster or something... And no it's not fosters home for imaginary friends. Not sure how old is it but I don't think it's that old.

My bf was watching tv and a show came on for a while that looked kinda interesting in hindsight, unfortunately I didn't bother to see what it was called and we flipped channels not long afterwards. This was abt a month or so ago, maybe a little more. Some sort of ghost/zombie lady was talking to a guy in a dark room, I think basically blaming him for whatever happened to her, can't remember the specifics. Then there was a flashback to the womans death where she was arguing with some guy (the first guy's uncle?) in some science lab - like place, he pushed her into a machine (?) and turned it on presumbly killing her. We switched channels shortly after that but its been bugging me for a while, wondering what it was. Live action, defiantly on late at night. Any ideas?
