It sounds like Rihanna - Needed Me. A few follow up questions if it isnt that one. When you say you couldnt make it out - is it unclear (mumbled lyrics)- or was it too quick to use a Shazam app to find the song? Was it just one female and not a case of a Wild Rapper Appears?
Edited by MelTaco If knowledge is the key, then show me the lock, so I can ask someone to break it.I have never heard this before, and it sounds nothing like it. It was unclear as I always hear this in public, where it might not be too loud, and I just can't make out exactly what is being said before. I don't know if there is a rapper part or not. I know it sounds a bit faster and more upbeat, and more generally pop. Also, the part I 'quoted' was in the chorus. Thanks. I swear this is a song I hear in public all the time in places just/mainly playing recent pop hits. And only with in the past year or so/less I think. But I could be wrong on that.
Hey, after tinkering around with searches for what the lyrics I heard might have been, I discovered it's Girls Chase Boys by Ingrid Michaelson.
This might be really dumb and obvious, but there is this big pop hit from the past year or less(probably) that I hear all the time in public. And I'm really curious what it is(usually stay away from this stuff). I can't make out the lyrics clearly enough to search easily. It's a female singer. The lyrics sound like something about 'something something than it used be, something something supposed to be'. I really hope this is easy to find. Thanks.
