Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Bump again because they’ve now added another edit to the Punisher’s YMMV page here, saying that it’s become “subjectively” associated with “perceived alt-right white supremacy” and that people are asking him to be removed from Marvel’s lineup.
I’ve seen no evidence of that second point, and that first one is blatantly justifying and whitewashing after they removed the bit about January 6th. Once again, their edit reason is just “work”, and they have not responded to my notifier.
Edited by STARCRUSHER99Yep, this comes across as trying to be "subtle" about promoting one's own political views.
I've sent a second edit reason notifier cause I don't know what "work" is supposed to mean.
↓ I'll admit I thought the exact same thing, but they've been here for a while
Edited by STARCRUSHER99I wonder if Ryzov is back. NVM he seems to have been here first.
I do love the Big Pun but they're not wrong about some people calling for the Punisher to be retired or his symbol to be redesigned. I follow at least one comic artist on Twitter who is refusing to take Punisher commissions after what happened on January 6th. Others have objected with the fact that Frank in-universe despises people like that, but it doesnt really keep people from using rhe Punisher skulk to seem "cool" and edgy. Imo its not an invalid example but could be rewritten for a more equalized viewpoint (and I went back and did so after refreshing myself on what Ennis said about it).

A troper by the name of Peterpol 94 (edit history) has quite a few edits that raise an eyebrow. While some are fine, they have a tendency to create ZCEs by re-adding commented out examples (such as this Harry Potter edit), several instances of tweaking (in one case 17 times over an hour and 20 minutes), and in general making odd edits, like tweaking the wording on Finland's army (and deleting a "contrary to popular belief" in order to then make the opposite point), as well as this edit on YMMV.The Punisher commenting in a badly worded example and deleting a mention of the January 6th U.S. Capital riot. Their edit reasons tend to consist of just the word "work", with no other form of explanation.
I've sent an edit reason notifier just to start off
