I think it's a TOAST reference? Which I'm not entirely sure even is, but I know it's related to ARG?
That's a logic program, which works for argument tech (arg tech), which I guess works as a pun, but it's not an ARG. Granted I think there are other icons which are essentially puns. I don't remember which ones though...
Why is the icon for Trope Finder a garbage bin?
^Looking around in the trash?
^^ It was once called "Lost and Found".
Headscratchers used to be called "It just bugs me," and had an actual bug as their symbol.
Anyways is the reason ARG's icon is a loaf of bread due to the pun on the TOAST system being ARG tech?
Edited by jjjj2Most likely the answer can be found somewhere in this thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=1331158926091600100
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the ARG namespace for?
Well from that thread I found that it was a potato at one point (based on the portal 2 ARG), but it certainly isn't one anymore.
The only thing I can think of is that ARGs are composed of clues or "breadcrumbs" that add up to a bigger picture.
Namespace Question
Why is the icon for the ARG namespace a loaf of bread? Is it like playing off alternate reality so the Mind Screw joke is a loaf of bread?
