Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Um, can you tell if it's the original "Fuck You", or if it's the radio edit "Forget You"? If it's the radio edit, I'd think it wouldn't count.
The chickens are clucking it, in-universe, so it's not an automatic one way or the other on that. I do know that the out-of-universe track listing lists it as "Forget You", but I honestly think that, in-universe where they don't have to/aren't planning on sell/ing soundtracks of the show it's a little more ambiguous.
I think it's a good Radar example. Even if there is a cleaned up version that exists, doesn't the fact that chickens are "singing" it imply the title is "Cluck You"?- I would think it's a Stealth Pun.
HodorThank you. :)
This is something that I think qualifies, but now I'm starting to wonder, so I figured that I would ask.
Spoilers for the new Muppet Movie.
In the movie, during a telethon to save the day, Camilla and her chick friends cluck Ce Lo Green's "Fuck You", but because it's clucking, well... Would that be an in-universe version of Getting Crap Past the Radar? Because it's not just about what we are seeing as the audience, and laughing at that, it's also something that is happening on TV in the movie's universe.
So, would putting it on the page for the movie make sense as "Getting Crap Past the Radar, an in-universe occurrence is..." (or something to that effect?
