Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
There's Script/ for Unproduced Scripts. Otherwise, I dunno.
There was no script.
What's the source, then? Is it just interviews?
There was a plan with some level of written documents.
Since it never became a finished, published work... Darth?
I don’t know.
DarthWiki.Unpublished Works seems like an acceptable solution here, barring any better ideas.
Edited by TwiddlerIsn’t that for stuff that Tropers make up? Not official stuff.
*shrug* Like I said, barring any better ideas.
What are the official sources of publicly available information about this?
In that case, it could be in the “Series/“ namespace.
But it's not a series, is it? Nothing was ever filmed.
You haven't answered my question.
From what I’ve seen, the director just released this information out into the public.
Right, but how? Spoken interviews? Written interviews? Blog posts? What?
Okay, I've looked at the sources in that wiki page (this blog post by one of the show writers and a podcast with a guest who claims to have the original notes from when said writer approached him to work on the show) and they contradict each other, as noted here:
I'm gonna go ahead and say that without the original notes, Hexagon itself cannot be troped on main wiki, except under What Could Have Been on a trivia page. The pitch as described by the blog post could maybe be troped as "The Hexagon: The Team-Up Season That Almost Was" (the post title) under the Blog/ namespace. The differences in the pitch as described in the podcast could maaaaaybe go on a page for the podcast? Maybe a recap page for that particular episode of the podcast?
Honestly I'm thinking a Darth page might be the easiest way to go here, considering there are two contradictory sources of information, one being unofficial and the other being semi-official(? unofficial?) and contested. Though some of these could co-exist, e.g. a Blog/ page for the info as described in the blog post and a Darth page for the info as described in the blog post and the podcast, or just the podcast.
Edited by TwiddlerOk, I guess we could make it a Darth if there’s no better options.
I’m trying to make a work page for this but I don’t know what namespace it’d be in.
