True, but those are individual reactions. I'm thinking something along the lines of Sick Episode where the trope refers to an entire episode of a show about it.

Are you just asking about episodes that are focused on a fad, like an episode of a '70s cop show set at a disco, or do the characters actually have to reference and react to it as a fad?

I know we have Flash-in-the-Pan Fad and Trend Aesop to describe fictional fads, but do we have a trope (or need one) for an entire episode of a show about a fad being adopted and characters' responses to it?
