Is there a trope for when a character is wearing a Hidden Wire (or a high-tech/magical equivalent), and attempting to have a conversation with someone in real life and on the other side of the wire at the same time?
For instance, Alice is hiding in a flower shop (and a cop is probably following her) while Bob is killing people for her and telling her about it through the hidden earpiece:
Bob: Yeah so I just killed one of the guys in New York. Alice (looking at a flower, talking into the wire): That's beautiful. I love it! But... I was hoping for something more European. Clerk: You mean you want a flower from Europe? Bob (at the same time, on the earpiece): You mean you want me to kill the italian guys too? Alice (to both): Yes, that would be perfect.
So, the cop following her assumes she's just shopping and not involved with the killings.
