Ah, and it looks like it's just that one person who's been adding variants of "The show sucks now because William" to every recap YMMV page too. I did wonder.
I sent ~Starbrand 1987 a complaining notifier and included a URL to this thread, should they wish to address the issue directly. I also deleted their Unfortunate Implications entry for lack of citation.

This troper
seems to have some serious obsession about a certain character, William Dey, on the show Supergirl.
While he has been received with some controversy, especially after becoming the main characters new Love Interest, this guy takes it to a whole new level, especially on the non-YMMV character page
