The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Don't think there's anything for multilingual bands, but What Song Was This Again? is when there are a lot of changes in the translated version, and Translated Cover Version is when someone else covers the song in a different language.
(Nena's 99 Red Balloons is a classic example of the first trope: it keeps the same general meaning and sound, but has to dramatically rework the lyrics and some of the music to work in English.)

I think there was an ATT thread about whether or not Short Run in Peru applied in cases where a localization of an anime released at the same time as the original release in Japan, but I don't remember if I saw the final decision on that one, or if it would apply to music. Anyone else know?
