If you are talking about me, I only have deleted the Orphan of Kos on two separate occasions by virtue of being one of those intentionally hard bosses that better represent why DLC should never qualify for That One Boss. I am not responsible for ArcaneAzmadi's subsequent edits (who deleted a lot of entries after I rightfully deleted Orphan of Kos the second time around, this time for Just a Face and a Caption), which happen to be the catalyst for your belief that I have a narrow definition of That One Boss.
I have sincerely redirected you to the correct cleanup thread, without any intent to placate you. You cannot blame me for not participating in it at your request, nor anyone else for checking the thread 24/7.
On the That One Boss page's edit history, I can observe that on Jun 6th 2019, a troper named Narbon inexplicably deleted a lot of paragraphs pertaining to That One Boss's original description, which explicitly mentioned Bonus Boss as a complete no-no for the trope. If it were me, I'd restore those paragraphs, because nobody gets away with altering a trope's description without discussing it first.

That is not a sound argument. The DLC might be optional, but this is a genre that tends to have a great deal of technically "optional" content, with a player only really needing to complete a bare-bones fraction to complete to finish the game. That an Any % Speedrunner would ignore these bosses doesn't make them Bonus Bosses. Compare with Laurence, the First Vicar from the same, an actual Bonus Boss in that you need to go out of your way to find him and even the masochists who unironically play these games without leveling up consider him broken.
A much sounder argument could be that Orphan of Kos qualifies as a "final boss," since it's the final enemy you encounter in its mission pack. I'd have to think about that, but it's not nearly as cut-and-dry as you make it sound. And this is exactly why I wanted to have a discussion in the first place.
Edited by SpectralTimeI'm not very familiar with Bloodborne, but I think I'd lean towards agreeing that DLC != Bonus Boss.
Sure, the DLC bosses are optional in the context of the game as a whole. But if the DLC is more than just "here's a bunch of super-difficult bosses for those who want a bigger challenge", such as having extra levels and story content, it's valid to note when a boss might be an obstacle to many players' access to parts of that content.
Mass-removals in pages are fine in the context that there is an issue with the page. That page looks a lot better now, so I think the deletions helped.
I recently bore witness to what, in my mind, is an... overzealous pruning of the That One Boss page for Bloodborne, with one user making the argument that every boss not 100% necessary for game completion is a Bonus Boss, and therefore ineligible for inclusion. And that therefore all DLC bosses are "Bonus Bosses," and so on.
Now, I disagree with this interpretation, for reasons I've laid out on that page's discussion, in addition to the fact that it sure sounds like a lot of semantic trickery. But, when I tried to argue my case there, the user that instigated the original cuts stonewalled me and told me to argue my case on the Cleanup Thread; that they were only following the definition of the trope as listed (which I can't argue they are, if in the most narrow-minded and hamfisted way possible).
So, I did. And there's been no response, either from the party I'm in dispute with or any potential useful third parties.
I guess my question is, what should I do when I don't want to edit-war and would love to try to discuss my issues in a reasonable and respectful way, but the other party simply insists their point of view is correct and denies me the chance to plead my case in either of the two provided fora?
