Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
That looks like a combination of Conversation in the Main Page and Speculative Troping; at the very list, the indentation is bad. I don't think it's worth keeping, but since I'm not that familiar with Star Wars, it might be worth getting more input on whether there's anything that can be merged with the first bullet point.
Edited by GastonRabbit Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I'd nix all three sub-entries completely. As GastonRabbit points out they're just Natter, and stuff like "it's an even bigger Tearjerker because of [external factor X]" almost never adds anything to the example.
Not gonna steal your thunder here, though.
This happened because Tim had made a mistake. There's a lot of Natter all over that page— I took an edit pass at it last week for organizing and grammar, but didn't get into the Natter since I was nervous about getting heavy-handed with my edits. I say go for it!
I've cut the entries with a link to this discussion.
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.Questions about moments pages can also be taken up here.
Thanks for taking care of it, gjjones. Tearjerkers should be moments that are sad in their own right, not moments that are sad because they aren't what somebody'd hoped they'd be.

TearJerker. The Rise Of Skywalker has one example going into further detail by saying it's devastating to [X] shippers.
Is that kind of justification allowed, even given the subjective nature of YMMV, because I feel it leads to the exact same scene being listed on an Awesome page written in a "suck it, [X] shippers!" tone.
