Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

If the adaptation does something new with the trope, list it, but if it's just "the same thing but with actors", there's no real point.
Not sure if this is related but this came up recently on Run with the Wind which has multiple adaptations. Someone recently added different folders for each medium, but hasn't moved the tropes to the respective folders yet. After a quick check, I'd say majority of the current examples pretty much come under just "all versions" and "anime-only" (the anime is the only one with an official English release and is the most well-known, very few others including myself are familiar with the rest). And I don't think the differences between the adaptations are significant enough to be put into their separate sections anyway. Should I ask others for their thoughts or should I just get rid of the folders?
(I did message the troper who made the folders and we were talking things out, but they haven't replied to my latest message which was a few days ago.)
If a work is adapted in two (or more) different mediums, and share certain tropes, only the original medium need to be listed in the trope page, right?
