Weak, but Skilled vs Unskilled, but Strong?
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza
When the only character capable of being a match for the arrogant and/or skilled warrior, is a berserker of endless rage and stamina, and viceversa.
Most specifically, I mean rivalries where one of the contendants is an almost unbeatable warrior, superior to practically all the cast, that has earned and demostrated is enormous power through either practice or birth right, and has such skill using it through years of battle that non question it. And the warrior may have gained a bit of an ego for it. Until another appears, that is depicted as practically mindless or incapable of rational thought and strategies, but yet his rage, power and physical stamina are so great that the first one is either incapable of beating them, or at least it gives the warrior a run for their money, that leaves then extremely badly injured.
Of the top of my head, I can think of examples like Goku vs Broly, Superman vs Doomsday, Hulk vs Thor, or Gilgamesh vs Berserker (either of them).
Do you know if there is a named trope for this?
