Is there a trope about stories taking place in a small town or village, where a group of characters find themselves having to deal with a mystery of some kind

the exemples I can think of is Persona 4 with the killings in Inaba, Jojo part 4 with the stand users and the killings in Morioh, It where a group of kids have to face the menace of Pennywise in Derry, and I guess maybe Riverdale too but I haven't watched it so I don't know

the common thing between these examples is also that they take place on a set period of time that's kinda "symbolic" (not sure if that makes sense lol), like summer 99 for Jojo, summer 1958 for It and the school year for Persona 4 (2011-2012 iirc but the exact year isn't important, it's more the concept of "the year of their life where they were fighting Shadows" that matters)

also I don't know if this exists already but I think it would be very useful to have a way to search tropes that several works have in common, for exemple you just select "Persona 4" and "Jojo part 4" and it gives you all the tropes that are in both
