They misspelled Example Sectionectomy. And... well, it's not well enforced, but in theory, the rule is that No Examples, Please means no examples anywhere on the wiki.

That rule has been up for debate since its inception, which is why I created a Wiki Talk thread. Some works have been added to the list with the intent that they not collect on-page examples, some added so they aren't wicked on work pages, and some added because we didn't want examples anywhere.

No, Example Sectionectomy does allow examples on YMMV pages; only Flame Bait doesn't allow examples anywhere. Revert those.

Base-Breaking Character is permitted to have off-page examples, but none on-page.

So just to be clear, Audience Reaction "tropes" are cool on YMMV as long as they don't Flame Bait?

Example Sectionectomy is for ubiquitous tropes, too. My understanding is that it means we don't aggregate entries from across the website, but it can still be used as needed on individual works pages.

It wouldn't make much sense for Audience Reaction tropes not to be allowed on YMMV. That's kind of what they're for, isn't it?
