Could be a little less curt, Kuruni...

Sorry.
Okay, so I've done some searching and can't find a good answer for this: What sort of trope is it where someone gives a speech about how badass a hero is in an action movie? My apologies if it's been covered but I can't seem to find a reference.
Examples:
Christopher Walken talking about Denzel Washington's character in "Man on Fire" - "Creasy's art is death, and he's about to paint his masterpiece."
Viggo Tarasov in John Wick, "That fuckin' nobody... is John Wick..." pencils, etc.
Even the terribly written thing that Lee Ermey delivers in On Deadly Ground about Steven Segals supposed, uh... Italian Innuit? Fuck I don't know but it's in there.
A lot of other examples, and it does seem to be a staple of action movies. So much so that I'm feeling I've overlooked the thing but I can't find it here.
What say you?
(awesome site, by the way, I'm a writer and I continually reference your stuff for my own work, and refer you to others)
