I see a lot of violations of Weblinks Are Not Examples (which may not even work if the description is any indication), and a Ctrl+F for "http:" brings up over 600 results. Trimming the links and adding actual context might help some.
If splitting is still needed, mods aren't needed for that. Mods' extra page-creation/page-editing privileges tend to mainly involve modifying Locked Pages and creating new pages in the Main/ namespace.

Yeah, I was actually trying to fix a few of those violations when I noticed the warning that the article was too long.
My main concern is that How to Split a Page says that I need a moderator's help for a hard split (since the page needs to be split into smaller subpages).
I think you should still be able to edit the page without worrying about the size.

Why can't you just make "Tropes A-M" and "Tropes N-Z" pages?
I ultimately decided to give in and do just that. Hope I don't get in trouble for it.
The main page for Not Always Working is starting to get a little on the large side (as in "This article is too long" large). Any mods available to split it up?
