Not really Harsher since it was a flashback of how they treated the other and thus is a foreshadowing of their Relationship.

I think the big point of Harsher and Hilarious is that they must be accidental. If it becomes more dramatic intentionally, that is Rewatch Bonus.

Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.

Just giving this a small bump to add that Court Dogs has added this as a subbullet to the entry;

  • It gets worse for Connie when it reminds her on how her mother used to treat her.
Which is also somewhat false. While Connie's mother was overbaringly strict, she never put her hands on her that way.
