You are of course correct on the merits: spoiler tags are bad, always. I'd say delete them to the maximum extent you can without getting in an edit war.

This site desperately desperately needs a hard and firm policy re: spoiler tags. Establish a certain grace period after the release of the work, and after that grace period elapses, no spoiler tags, period. And it should be a short grace period, just a couple of years.

^ That seems to be your opinion, rather than anything regarding site policy.

The work is fairly new (description says it ended in 2015).

^It is my opinion! But I'm right! In the lack of any wiki guideline on what is and isn't a spoiler and how long we must wait before removing spoiler tags, doesn't seem like there's any reason you can't delete.

Here's the actual spoiler policy, if you need a reference: Handling Spoilers

I went ahead and undid the all-white entries.

Under no circumstances cause the entire text of the example to be in white font, concealing the trope name. Think about it. If you have to highlight and read it ... just to see if you want to highlight and read it, there is no point to the spoiler font.

I sent Daguchna a Spoiler notifier for good measure.

I'm not seeing any violations on the page. Has it already been fixed?

Edit: Disregard, I can't read.

In the lack of any wiki guideline on [...] how long we must wait before removing spoiler tags,
You're in luck! From Administrivia.Spoilers Off, here's a rule on when spoilers no longer apply:
If the copyright has expired, or if it predates the very concept of copyright
