Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

The rule is to use whatever the most recent official translation/localization is for whatever language the page is in. Presumably the game itself lists names used, so use whatever the game uses.
Checked in game last night, Spirit Bomb is used in game.
Muramasa got. Then you should be OK to change it to comply with the site standards while linking this ATT query in the Edit Reason, though you can wait for more assurance it you want. You can also PM Majin Akuma to inform them of the sites rules. If they still insist on not following them call for the mods.
I might suggest specifying you're swapping out to the official English. There's what I do in such situations. I
I will clarify that better.
Majin has also been doing some edits for Spell My Name With An S and Lost in Translation regarding attacks and character names besides just Spirit bomb, such as this for Tien, and yes, I copied it exactly it was written: And technically, his name is meant to be said as "Tian" or "Tianjinfan" in Chinese pinyin. "Tien" is most likely a butchered version of the actual pinyin of his name.
- Some of his attacks named aren't accurately translated. The less harming example is the Dodonpa, which means „Boom Wave“, but is called „Dodon Ray“. The (Shin) Kikōhō, which means „(New) Energy Work Cannon“, is called „(Neo) Tri-Beam“.
Seems like Majin dislikes the english names and is leaving YMMV like comments such as "less haming" or "butchered version."

Edited by sgamer82To be honest, who cares if they don't like the English names? That's what we go with on here.
Its just weird they seem to be doing this to Fighterz and nothing else. Its just kinda out of place since the game is using the same terminology they've been using for years now. If anything, those entries should go on different pages.

On the Dragon Ball Fighterz character page, several parts of the page use the Japanese names for things, such as calling the Spirit Bomb Genkidama, which while the Japanese name, is not what is consistent with the other Dragon Ball pages. I went to fix this, since general rule seems to be use dub names, but after I removed them or put the english names, Majin Akuma reverted them back to normal.
Are we still using dub names? I know we've had issues before with other tropers about similar issues.
