We've dealt with Recap/ pages for literature in the past (e.g. Recap.Harry Potter existed at one point), but they really shouldn't be joined into a single page. That's what other namespaces are for, particularly Synopsis/.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. The synopsis namespace is deprecated and all of the pages in it are being moved to recaps.
Should a book in a series have both a Recap and Literature page?
Literature.A Game Of Thrones, and then there's Recap.A Game Of Thrones.
Although, that Recap page is Wall of Text... Which most aren't / shouldn't be?
Most Recap pages I've seen, store tropes like a work page, so it shouldn't have a page with the same title, but in a work namespace? Because that's duplicate effort, or something?
But, most Recap pages are for animated works, like Adventure Time S 1 E 1 Slumber Party Panic, which has Adventure Time for the work?
The tropes just being an easy way to recap the episode?
