The name "Rainbow Quartz" is probably no longer valid given how Rose isn't actually a Quartz. But at the same time, we should avoid using unofficial terminology as if it was official. My suggestion would be to simply not mention the fusion's name, since it's not really relevant: just saying they attempted to fuse but failed is enough.

It's as valid a name as any, given she was, for all intents and purposes, Rose Quartz whatever her actual gem was.

I don't expect to see the show refer to Smoky Quartz as Smoky Diamond anytime soon.

Either way, the term "Rainbow Diamond" should not be used until it's confirmed to be official.

I would stick to Rainbow Quartz for now.

Im sorry Zuxtron, but you dont decide what is valid or not. The Creators do.

Yes, and the creators of the show have never, as far as I know, used "Rainbow Diamond", so we should either stick to Rainbow Quartz, or not specify the name.

Fusions chose their own names anyway, so it doesn't really matter if Rainbow Quartz isn't actually a Quartz.

DAONG 123 has changed it to Rainbow Quartz/Diamond. Should it be changed to just Rainbow Quartz, or should it be kept like that?

As Zuxtron said, unless the show or official materials use "Rainbow Diamond" that's not the name. So best option is either change it or remove the name from the entry altogether. If other tropers are edit warring over it, it's now been reported so they can be dealt with. In any case, it seems like multiple tropers are warring over this, I'll pull the entry for discussion.

Edit: Discussion made ( https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/remarks.php?trope=Recap.StevenUniverseS5E19NowWereOnlyFallingApart#comment-113053 ) but unable to actually pull the entry as the page is under a Spurious Page Lock.

Just a heads up: The spurious lock is gone now!
