Nah. The idea is about someone being depressed and then masking his own depression with anger. You know, masking depression with fury.

But nothing that results in something as destructive as ending the world or shit like that. Only the idea of depression becoming the catalyst for furious behavior.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...

Seconding both Sour Outside, Sad Inside and Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds, and adding Madden Into Misanthropy, Knight in Sour Armor, and Jerkass Façade.

Important note on Woobie Destroyer of Worlds is that they don't literally have to destroy the world or even be physically violent; they just need to be a character that's been pushed over the edge by tragic circumstances.

Looks about right. Is there a trope for a bigger form of that rage? Or only Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds would apply?

Hmm, all those tropes seem to fit what I'm searching for. I'll be doing research on these.
