I'm pretty sure works pages for unreleased works are okay, unless they're like your pet novel project or something, in which case they go on Darth Wiki.

I know about personal works but I could have sworn there were at least two instances that came up with an announced or planned work getting a page then getting axed with the statement that because they were not released yet there shouldn't be a works page. I know you can mention sequels on works pages (or that is the trend) of the work that proceeds the new one.

I think that it was "wait till it opens, because snap happens". Or something maybe a tad more elegant.

Hmm in that case would you take a look at The Avatar Continuation series Wow it has a ptitle blackcat. The discussion page has a lot of activity and lot of fan activity at that. I do not have the authority or will to contend with these fans.

Unpublished works can be discussed in the main works page if they are a sequel or they can have a Darth Wiki article made for them.

This was discussed on the forums not long ago. To summarize, I believe that articles should be allowed for upcoming works, because some tropes can be gleaned from trailers, screenshots, summaries, etc.

Tropers are incurable. They will feel the need to trope something before it comes out, and having an outlet for it is a good idea.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.

I feel like that particular page has done a good job of not using tropes that aren't absolutely certain. Hence its tiny trope list.
