Thanks. I was afraid just because Mary Sue is in the title.This would be inappropriate.

Well, my concern is that the proposal doesn't have a whole lot of replies and only a few examples were contributed by other tropers. I don't think the matter of it being "appropriate" or not really enters into it.

We do not need more Mary Sue tropes. Seriously. This is far from the first time that someone has proposed a "Looks like a Mary Sue but isn't" or "Deconstructs the Mary Sue" trope, and the point seems to be to find characters that exhibit some Mary Sue traits but aren't bad or flat characters. Even if it is a deconstruction rather than being just not a Mary Sue, it's not worthy of a separate trope.

Is it ok a trope that deconstructs Common Mary Sue Traits but not marysue themselves ?

Why not just label that a deconstruction? That's a valid method of Playing with a Trope. Why make a separate trope just for that?
