Also it wasn't by RL Stine but the same genre
Maybe one of the Bonechillers series?
The Protomen enhanced my life.No it was for a older demographic like the Fear Street books
It was part of a series and for some reason I seem to remember the title of the series started with an S. I also THINK the cover showed a house at night but could be wrong. Oh and I checked the Love at First Sight page if anyone was wondering but didn't see it.

I don't suppose it was one of the Spinetinglers series? I think those were aimed at a younger audience.
No it was about the same age group as the Fear Street books and I remember the book was about the same size.
Possibly a book in the 'Point Horror' series? Seems to fit the the age group and kind of genre you're looking for, although I'm struggling to find a list of book synopses to confirm or deny if they had a plot like you describe, so I can't give you a specific book.
I'm not sure. I seem to remember the series title was displayed prominently on the cover
Now that I think about it the series title might have been the town it took place in or maybe the name of the school in it
BUMP
Edited by BootlebatPossibly a Michigan Chillers/American Chillers series? Those are usually named for the town they take place in. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Chillers
No, It was for an older demographic than Goosebumps and the like, about the same age level as Fear Street
One more think, I think the author was female.
Edited by Bootlebatone more bump then giving up for now
Maybe the author is Christopher Pike?
Not Christopher Pike. I'm pretty sure the author was female.
LOOOOOOOOOONG time bump.
This young adult horror/thriller book I had in circa 1999. I remember 2 things from the first chapter 1. the protagonist recalls a time when she was at the beach and accidentally hit a guy with a ball or frisbee and goes to apologize but then has Love at First Sight and kisses him on the lips 2. The protagonist's sister has some rare blood disease. I remember I thought the book was really dumb so only read the first couple chapters but I am still curious about if for some reason.
