Uh, yeah that's not cool. The fact they're admitting it lacks context and then trying to justify it anyway is worse than if they just claimed the context is present.

Went ahead and commented out the entry and culled the comment. I also sent a ZCE notifier to them.

While it was a Troper making up their own rules, said Troper was not Asterlix but AmourLeFou
, who has since been banned (again, as they were a ban evader). Their attempt to change the rules was later removed by MacronNotes.
I think I was just alphabetizing. That's why it looks like I put the All-CGI Cartoon example but I just moved it around.

The history shows it as if you added it, but eh. I'll accept that it's probably Amour's fault.

^^ The handy new Edit History search feature shows "AllCGICartoon" wasn't present on the page until your edit. I think you should get a pass though, as was pointed out the All-CGI Cartoon page did say zero-context examples were allowed at the time you made that edit.

ArmourLeFou's edits were purged from the history page due to being a ban-evading troper, causing it to appear as if Asterlix solely added it when it was moved. There is probably a archive of the page before Asterlix's edit that showed the All-CGI Cartoon wick in a different spot on the page.

That's not how it works. A ban evader's edits don't get purged; nobody's edits get purged. Ban evader edits just get cut like normal.

I did search Armour's edits for this page and couldn't find their addition of this. Only one edit remains from them which was deleting an Adult Fear wick back when it was disambiguated.
Because you're assuming Amour did it in the first place. The history makes it clear that it was Asterlix being mislead by what Amour added to the trope page, and they simply forgot what happened because it's been a year.

So I was editing Inside Out and came across this comment below a obvious ZCE for All-CGI Cartoon stating: "The above trope's page says it allows zero-context examples since the title is self-explanatory. So, please, don't comment it out." Site policy demands that ZCEs should be commented out or have added context. This appears to have been added
by Asterlix last year. I did check the page for All-CGI Cartoon and found no notice at all supporting this. Is this the troper trying to get away with adding ZCEs by making up their own rules?
