Your mama may have had eyes in the back of her head, but our admin team just can't see everything at once. It takes a village to make sure TVTropes is running the way it should, so when it comes to spotting tech snafus, dreaming up a better digital mousetrap, or just diagnosing plain old asshattery, the quicker you let us know something's up, the quicker we can address it. See a bug? Point to it and we'll squash it. Have idea for a new feature? Post in the Tech Wishlist.

The button got renamed to the "challenge" button and was rendered mod-only at some point within the past few years, despite the fact that it shouldn't have been. The discrepancies were noted in a Wishlist post
from May of this year, so the mods are aware there are issues.
The cutlist page still says:
If it's not possible to reinstate the "wait button" functionality, can we at least rephrase the page to remove the reference to it?
(If so, we should probably signpost tropers to the moderation thread, where they can manually post to ask mods to intervene)
