I'm actually inclined to agree with them that saying it comes across as complaining isn't a good enough reason to remove it, so not suspending per the exception to the Edit War policy for reverting deletions with insufficient edit reasons. If this is misuse, that would be a different story, but your edit reason doesn't mention anything about that.

Can I at least delete it with a better edit reason? It is misuse; I just forgot to mention it.

Maybe explain why it's misuse? It looks valid to me without having seen the show.
I think it will be better if @Skan 123 contact @Darklightprince and try to reach a consensus -either here or via the PM- before deleting the example.
