As much as I generally like to cut down on complaining, TBH I don't really see the problem with listing a specific episode out of many as a DMoS. It's a subset of a larger work, not a work itself.
I agree with the OP that going “x and y is bad, but what really grinds my gears is z” seems like a way to skirt the rules, especially if the items aren’t directly connected or part of a larger point.
This isn't something that needs to be voted on. Entries can't be added for whole episodes (not just with this, but any Moments page), so they should be removed, and sending a PM to whoever added them might be a good idea. (Can't help but wonder if the page quote is giving the impression that this is acceptable, but that's something for the page quote thread to handle.)

^^ Thanks; I was under the impression that was the rule, but given the number of entries on the page which name an entire episode as a DMoS, I thought it best to get confirmation before going ahead with what might have looked like a major unilateral change.
I'll also tweak the page's preamble to specify that entires that name whole episodes are not allowed, as right now it only says that shows and seasons can't be named as a DMoS.

Am I right in thinking that the rules that forbid naming an entire work as a Dethroning Moment of Suck apply to episodes of TV shows? Because DethroningMoment.Star Trek has a lot of entries that are along the lines of "this entire episode is one huge DMoS".
Additionally, a few entries are mostly just complaining about the episode in general before naming a specific DMoS at the very end, which seems like a case of keeping to the letter of the rules while going against their spirit.
