I don't agree with sparties opinion there, because I think every one should get an equal chance.
That and any one who tried to murder every one would not exactly last long.
Hm.
Well, I'm sorry if I'm coming off as argumentative, but what do you think I'm planning? If you think something along the lines of starting combat with the other characters or whatever general "Evil PC" badness is going to happen, I can tell you it's not. Even if the character /wants/ to kill everyone (out of a semi-twisted sense of justice, actually—she believes that everyone in the world is contributing to the harm of something else in the world, or profiting off the harm of something else in the world, that existence is inherently /un/just), just going and killing people over anything isn't an effective way to go about it. And given that she's serving a master currently it's even unlikely she'll /plot/ against people.
Having this character interact with other characters (through talking) is actually something I'm interested in. /Especially/ because she's an Omnicidal Maniac (well, not technically but whatever), since her views on the things coming up in general interaction seem interesting to explore. This isn't a character that /has/ to go against the tone of the RP.
"Call me dickmaster."I'm kinda guarded on this, because he have had people attempt to party wipe the group.
Ah, alright.
Again, apologies for being harsh, I just read "omnicidal maniac" and "Exalted character" in the same sentence and flipped a bit.
My issue isn't with either of those (though I'd be lying if I said I didn't have an issue with a newbie playing an omnicidal maniac character), but...
Like, your guy's an Exalted character. Exalted characters are usually Exalts - for a reason, y'know? Exalts are mondo strong - they could wipe a third of WAOA in the same amount of effort it takes one to type up the post describing how they do it.
My prime worry is/was that your character being an Exalt and an omnicidal maniac/put them all out of their misery character has agency to do what I just described.
If nobody else has any issues then I won't have issues either. I just kinda BSOD'd once I saw two things that shouldn't normally go together at all, be used in the same sentence.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."And my particular opinion is that while I won't outright say something like that can't be done, it's very rarely been pulled off effectively. Especially some of the past newcomers.
So while I personally wouldn't recommend it...I'm willing to at least seeing what it is before going red alert. Just give us their name, powers/gear, general personality and any relevant backstory. That way it'll be a little easier to figure out how good/bad the idea is.
As far as Exalted characters go, I know that the way Exalted's world works means that someone who wants to "destroy the world" can have any number of interpretations to said statement considering how malleable that world can be at times, so I'm gonna wait to see the full picture here.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I think this is where the Sweetroll Test can come in handy, what with being designed to handle exactly this sorta thing.
Considering my reaction to the mere announcement of his character, I'm gonna stay out of judgement for this one.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I'd say sweetroll test too.
Stupid doomed timeline...Chuck has a point.
Sit your ass down and adminster the test spart. >:c
Well I'll do that.
So I suppose I'll rephrase; considering my reaction to the announcement of his character, I will not pass comments on his description of the character. I'll leave that to you and test him when you're done with it.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Though in this case is the sweetroll test a... privilege check?
*is shot*
Stupid doomed timeline...Well at least when someone asks him to check his privilege he'll reply "someone already did that for me".
...Unless that's not the joke, in which case, someone please knock me out and cross the red and blue wires in my brain back into their proper positions.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Well, we're checking the Privilege, so...
Couldn't resist with the username.
...and wow I really need to think about playing.
Maybe I should do something with the whole "Delilah gets a magic wand" thing somehow.
Stupid doomed timeline...Sure. Do you want Summary or Full Text?
As for everyone suggesting the Sweetroll Test, I'm game for it, but I have no idea what it is. Mind telling me?
(Also, Ozbourne and Sparty, that is /exactly/ the meaning that was meant there. :p )

"Call me dickmaster."It's a fairly simple short roleplay we do here to test out newcomers.
Or, more specifically, I do here, because a sum total of one other person besides me has ever actually done it.
Saying any more would sort of spoil it, but it's short and simple. Don't worry about it.
And also because I thought of a better one;
"Check your privilege!"
-looks at self-
"For what?"

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Whichever works best for you, but a summary's good enough for me.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)A'ight! (seriously I love that emote).
NAME: Knight of Bloody Remembrance
GEAR: A soulsteel daiklave and armor of the same material (exactly what it sounds like), but she barely wears them because she can literally hear the equipment screaming for mercy (due to one of her abilities) and it sickens her a bit. Instead, she's often got a standard metal sword/armor going unless she's about to enter /serious business/.
POWERS: First up, she's incredibly (possibly supernaturally) good with a sword.
Second up, she can detect magically when she's being lied to (I can tone this one down if you like)
Third up, she's got a constant spiritual link to the spirits of the dead, and in particular the spirits of these particular dead world-consciousnesses called the Neverborn. This is really more a curse than a blessing, as she's basically constantly plagued with visions of suffering and evil. Again, she can /hear her armor scream for mercy/
Fourth, and finally, she can escape the effects of a certain amount of attacks by basically channelling the Neverborn far more strongly than she usually does, at the cost of experiencing a full-blown, legit BSOD for a brief period, because as she channels THEM she channels their terror of dying.
PERSONALITY: Generally a very gruff, taciturn personality. Being aware of the ultimate evil of people and existence does a /ton/ to depress you. She is, ironically, rather stern to others in terms of morality, because she gives herself equally little quarter—though, admittedly, in her case she's less inclined to be preachy about it because all the bad people do contributes to the world's destruction to a certain degree anyway. She's got a highly compassionate side which she represses, as well as a deep-seated fear of death (that actually fuels her guilt and hatred and motivates her to destroy everything else).
BACKSTORY: Knight of Bloody Rememberance began her life a slave. Betrayed by her family, as they sold her when she was young, she saw the harm and the evil that her captors did and raged against it constantly. And one day, she was allowed to escape, when a would-be liberator of the masses decided to start with her work unit.
All was well, for a brief part of the journey, but then it all fell apart as wandering spirits killed the liberator and terrified Knight into fleeing, out into the desert. It was here she received her exaltation, and here she received her ultimate lesson. You see, she had long thought herself to be /better/ than the scum of the Earth, to be one of those who /wouldn't/ betray everyone else to serve her own ends, and well...in that moment she Exalted, she betrayed Creation. In her words and in her heart.
And now, she works to tear apart the whole rotten society. Maybe not in a day, not even the destruction of an army could /really/ solve the problem as existence has gotten up from that, but someday. All will pay for their evil.
"Call me dickmaster."A'ight. Tell me when/where and I'm ready.
/Attitude/. *gets gloves to slap privilege around with*
"Call me dickmaster."...Are you all waiting on me to do the test?
Also, Privilege, check your protip: Don't double post unless you absolutely have to. It is considered bad form. There's a little pencil in the bar at the top of your posts and you can use it to edit them.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Well, I can't do it myself.
Duly noted.

"Call me dickmaster."BTW I was addressing everyone else, but considering there's total radio silence... screw it. What's the harm going to be?
You are KNIGHT OF BLOODY REMEMBERANCE. You have not had a very good life.
Of course, things have finally settled down after the tumult that caused you to EXALT, becoming BASICALLY A GOD. And you managed to find a job, too, which'll help you in your quest to MAKE CREATION PAY.
As you head home, you purchase a SWEETROLL, one of the few things you will actually concede is good about EXISTENCE. Not really worth the EVERYTHING ELSE, though.
As you finally begin making way to rest, a DASTARDLY THIEF approaches. He sneakily nabs the SWEETROLL from your hands, not that you don't notice. You do.
The THIEF BOOKS IT.
What do?

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Hey, Sun told you to sit down and administer the test, and who am I, the GM, to disagree?

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)All right, it's time. I still don't have time for GM stuff, even less so than when I wanted to back in August, but I miss this RP, and I'm thinking about just bringing Arc back in. So, what's happened since I left?
[forum cryptid: it/it's]I know.
Before I answer this, two questions.
—When you say the sweetroll is good, is that to the point of deep emotional significance? —How far has the thief gotten already?
"Call me dickmaster."
...
Yes.
Yes I very much mind a new player porting an Omnicidal Maniac character into a character interaction based game.
Look. I don't have anything against you, personally. Nor do I have anything against Exalted or you playing an Exalt or other character from Exalted. But playing a character you have said (even if in strikethrough) is an omnicidal maniac trips every single warning sensor I have installed. Trust me when I say that these situations have never ended well - not for you and not for anyone else playing.
Unless your character isn't exactly the violent type - just someone who holds the opinion the world would be better off destroyed, and even then I'd only trust veterans to actually be able to do that any justice.
Apologies if I sound harsh, but I honestly do not think what you are planning is a good idea.
