Probably. Though it is kind of funny when we get things where the names don't match the references, such as a king called Mordred who isn't a traitor, a spear called Gae Bolg that isn't thrown with the foot, an Excalibur that isn't a sword, or a Sigurd that didn't die from a literal back stab.
Still, kind of nice to see King Lear references. Though a part of me is a little sad that the names "Regan" and "Goneril" weren't given to evil queens in the series.

Well, mythological Sigurd was burned on a pyre, so close enough.
Another ironic name would be Kriemhild. "Yeah, let me name this spear I got from sacrificing my wife on a woman who swore bloody vengeance for his husband's death."
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Actually speaking about Echoes/Gaiden, this been on my mind for quite some time.
Why was Fernand consider one of the best things about the game. To me, he just came across everything that's wrong with Takumi
Presumably it's because Takumi doesn't really get better about it, plus Fernand's reasons are more substantial. Fernand also has more of a presence to get his point across better than Takumi being largely absent aside from those few maps.
This is the first time I heard about Fernand being "one of the best things" about the game. Did you mean Berkut?
So...think we'll see anyone go crazy in the Switch game?

Honestly I did prefer fernand to berkut. Berkut wasn't bad, but Fernand felt more interesting to me precisely because he's everything that's RIGHT with takumi. I do agree though that berkut was much more praised than him.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."What do Fernand and Takumi have to do with each other? Takumi was all rageface because an enemy nation was destroying his kingdom while his family was betrayed, leaving him with nothing but vengeance. Fernand sold out his country for his noble fetish.
... because the reason fernand is the way he is is that commoners burned his house and killed his family and that he's trying to get some misplaced revenge ?
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Well, for one, they both betrayed their friends over something stupid and selfish.
Answer no master, never the slave Carry your dreams down into the grave Every heart, like every soul, equal to breakTakumi didn't betrayed anyone tho. He's angry most of the time, but anything that would count as betrayal is on anankos.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."It was More than Mind Control. Some of it was Anankos, but it was also Takumi himself who desired it. Like him listening to the voice giving him a headache and validating in his mind the BETRAYAL so eventually when he decides he wants to kill himself Anankos does it for him.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.he only decided to kill himself tho, not betray people. The two times time where he actually betrays and attack people he's allied with, it's in birthright through regular mind control, and at the end of conquest where takumi in the dream outright states at this point he has no control left over his body and didn't wanted thing to turn out this way.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."The regular mind control is just tapping into the part of him still connected to Anankos. Since that's why he was susceptible in the first place.
That was the point. The moment he decided to kill himself even subconsciously is when Anankos took control of his meatsuit. In his worst moment of self-hatred where he'd rather die he gave himself up to an emo Dragon.

No, I mean that prick Fernand. Guys like Mamodxx seems think so anyways.
I might have a disdain towards Takumi, but he does have some believable beef with Corrin. It's a shame that had to be ruin that with Anakos presence.
I made the comparison between Takumi & Fernand because they both made horrible 1st impression. Except Takumi has pretty legit reason as far I'm concern while Fernand was this pretentious dick. I've seen "Rise of Deliverance" DLC & I know what the guy was like back in the day, but my god Echoes tried to you make feel sorry for the guy. Except I never did. Sure, it was awful losing your family to bunch of (presumably) ungrateful peasant is probably going to more than irritate you. But then you join your nation's enemy? Granted, he was forced to but he gladly join after barely 10 minutes.
Personally, I haven't really seen that many people singing Fernand any praises or saying he's one of the best things in Echoes, though I have seen a lot of people singing Berkut praises.

Where was it confirmed that Three Houses would have dungeons? I've never seen it mentioned anywhere.
Tips for the port chapter? I was doing okay until reinforcements spawned right on top of me. Also, how should I handle Arthur and Effie? Should I try to feed them kills, or is it not worth it?
Since Revelation has grinding opportunities, I would suggest not really prioritizing feeding Arthur and Effie kills if it gets too dangerous. You could always pair them up with more powerful units to not only keep them safe from stronger enemies, but also to allow for Dual Guards.
Is it best to turtle and wait for the reinforcements to come?
You could certainly try that, especially if you remember what sort of reinforcements they were. Just remember not to spread your forces too thin so that you can wipe out the reinforcements as quickly as possible.

I'm pretty sure I got that wrong because I can't find dungeon crawling feature myself.
Beat ch. 14. Yet again, due to luck at one point, though. At one point I'd accidentally left Sakura in range of a Paladin with a Javelin... yet for some reason he chose to kill himself on a nearly-dead Kaden who had a Dual Guard up.
I feel like I'm not very good at this game.
The Fates AI is really flaky about noticing Dual Guards. Sometimes it'll use its lowest attacker to burn the Dual Guard. Other times, it'll just attack into it to gang up on and kill someone, except without factoring in that Dual Guards prevent it from dealing enough damage.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiI feel like what must've happened is that the Paladin could actually kill neither Kaden nor Sakura in one hit with the Javelin, but he could kill Kaden with the Steel Lance, so he went with that, ran into the Dual Guard, and died.
While I like literary and mythological references as much as the next guy, I note that this is a franchise where Cain is loyal and honorable so there's no guarantee the names actually mean anything.
