This is a thread for people who will not be or have not been on the site for a while, whether due to real life or to resist an internet addiction, the latter of which is encouraged within reason. Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

Bald... hair?
If you want to get technical, my hair is auburn. So I'm safe, right? ...Right?
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Some of the people have perfect hair all of the time, and all of the people have perfect hair some of the time, and that just broke the analogy.
Robotnik has more than enough hair...

I said my wife forbade me from being bald. I wouldn't do it myself, because I like my hair, but I don't think it's Evil. Just sayin'.

Or that's the implication I'm getting.

I was wondering why frisbees got bigger as they got closer then it hit me.Fighteer-I may have more gray hair than you do at the age of 27. Tell your wife "it could be worse."
Pictures? I'm pretty certain I don't even know your gender.
(Apart from that whole "male until proven otherwise since There Are No Girls on the Internet" thing.)
The folks in the Hangout Thread are wondering where Aiko Heiwa has wandered off to. Anyone know?
Who watches the watchmen?Post 13410 seems to be relevant, now that I recall.
I always thought a reverse Mohawk was called a fauxhawk.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. It may as well be considered a No Hawk
Fauxhawks are mini-Mohawks. When instead of a foot of hair, you have like half an inch.
I thought a fauxhawk was when the hair was done up down the middle but there was still hair on the sides.
Fresh-eyed movie blogWhen The Westerner said "reverse mowhawk", my first mental image was of him coming with an axe and chopping a V-shaped slie out of the top of all our skulls.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. When I hear "Reverse Mohawk" the first thing I think of is the Bill Cosby bit where he comes home from work to find that his son has given himself an impromptu haircut.
