The main problem I can see is that Mythos writing has loose continuity even within Lovecraft's, let alone the later additions, but that could probably be managed.

The Wiki Magic has tackled tougher things than a few continuity snarls. We'll manage.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.Sounds good to me. I'd recommend having a brief introduction reminding people that the continuity is pretty loose between writers and not edit war with other people over it.
Also, I think if the character bios should include a list of stories featuring it. A lot of the cast is just name dropped at random all the time, it'd be nice to keep tabs on which stories actually featured, say Yog-Sothoth.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984The internet makes it rather hard to write about the Mythos, since if you go mad and start trying to finish it in your own blood you just get a really gross monitor and nothing written down.
It is shameful for a demon to be working, but one needs gold even in Hell these days.^^ I thought Yog-Sothoth was supposed to be such an incomprehensibly vast and power being that, were he to actually appear in a story, the Cthulhu Mythos Verse would automatically come to an end?
Most of the Outer Gods are like that.
It is shameful for a demon to be working, but one needs gold even in Hell these days.Be sure to include known powers and personality, if the gribbly beast in question has any.
Well, it wouldn't just be gribbly beasts, you've also got people like Pickman to put on there.
It is shameful for a demon to be working, but one needs gold even in Hell these days.True, but the gribblies are the best known.
Don't forget the Nightgaunts!
Its beginning to look a lot like fishmen...
Eeeeverywhere I go...
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.^ Christmastime in Innsmouth? :)
I'd suggest each entry being formatted into two paragraphs or parts, since Lovecraft's mythos and the Cthulhu Mythos can differ so much. Maybe something like...
In the later mythos, it's revealed that (insert even more sanity-blasting truths here). In the short story "Cthulhu Gone Wild" we learn that (insert still more sanity blasting truths) while "A Shoggoth on the Roof" establishes that...
That way it's easy to read up on either mythos on the same page and to tell where one ends and the other begins, without the whole page being split in two parts with mostly duplicate info.

"And for the first time in weeks, I felt the boredom go away!"^ Reference to this video. And now you (and everyone else) know.
Anyway, that format sounds good.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableHear hear!
I was wondering if anybody would consider making a Cthulhu Mythos character sheet. I mean, it would be great if there were a good reference for all the different notable Eldritch Abomiantions and Starfish Aliens of the mythos, so why hasn't anybody doen it yet? And does anybody think it's a good idea?
